About Us
Kevin Preston founded Three Peaks Engineering in 2015 in Denver, Colorado. Kevin has over 36 years experience in the oil and gas industry and has worked in most of the geologic basins in the United States where his focus has been on reservoir engineering and property evaluation.
Prior to starting Three Peaks Engineering, Kevin served as Reservoir Engineering Director at Kirkpatrick Oil Company for seven years. Kevin was also employed by Aviva, Inc. for 23 years, where he served most recently as Vice President of Engineering and Acquisitions. His early engineering experience was in various technical and managerial positions with Petro-Lewis Corporation.
Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
